Much excitement and then sadness in the Lambey household tonight.
The excitement, you ask? I just found out that there is an exhibition going on right now that's showcasing original artwork from the last 65 years of Golden Books. Tons of incredible artwork from artists like Richard Scarry, J P Miller, Aurelius Battaglia, Mary Blair, and Gustaf Tenggren.
The sadness? The exhibition is located at the Enoch Pratt Free Library waaay out in Baltimore, Maryland. If you're extremely lucky enough to be in the area, then the show runs from March 02-May09, and the admission is...get this.... FREE!
