This saddens me a great deal. Good luck with whatever you are doing next.
are you serious? what the hell was this show cancelled for? I only saw abot 6 episodes but they were genius. I hate people sometimes.Let me know what's next for the ol nostil boy.
That is a real shame. I touted El Tigre's craziness to my friends and bought episodes off iTunes. It was one of the -fastest- cartoons I'd ever seen and made me genuinely laugh. And I am not a kid.
Woah! i really didn't see that coming- el tigre was awes!!! it was fast and funny and you you did an amazing job with the visuals! -shock- ...this is hardly the end for mr lambe hough- you rock it! Ben.
I'm very dissapointed that El tigre is cancelled, but it will always be in my 'corazon'!Hopefully if they show reruns late at night it will be resurrected.(Hopefully the exec who axed it will choke on his Halloween candy)
Time to dust off the old passport....
wow.. 1 of the only good cartoons left on tv, and they pull the plug. what hope do the rest of us have!? this industry really bums me out sometimes. well lamb.. t-dot is a callin.. come drink some canadian beer!
God damn it dude, that is the lamest thing I've heard in ages!!
Pure bullshit man! That was my favorite cartoon. The last of the best funny toons on TV.
So, they cancelled one of three total watchable shows on that network? Stupid corporate type people!
bummer man, i have friends working on that show over at boulder in dublin.it was a great show!j.
FFUUUUUUUUUDGGGGGE !! Gotta love this topsy turvey business.Well,..you should be proud of the brilliant work you did Steeeevie. Please keep your Chicago buds up date on your whereabouts and gigs.
Crap. I know you have tough nuts to crack though Lambey. Don't let the sorry state of the industry get you down.Come back to Chi-town, I'll make you dinner, we'll have some lemonade...Let us know what's up and good luck!

YO Slambey...Thats poo to hear dude, that show shouted slambe... but don't let that, or any bodies pessimistic idea about the industry bother ya...when yer a talented little slambe, its all good...Rawlsy's got yer back! ..lets make a comic!
man, your work had nothing to do with it. I thought it was delicious. do your thing man the world is your lobster
yeah, too bad ,it was a great show.silly people....I'm sure you will make something else look real good.bestjoost
El Tigre even did BETTER than Spongebob its premiering night! This isn't fair. If a show isn't as popular as Spongebob its immediatly canned. This show has real potential. Its entertaining, its funny, it has morals, it has family values, and its even got other culture references!! In fact this may sound weird but El Tigre is the only reason I passed Spanish last year. Because of the vocab I learned from the show. Yes I know weird but thats not the point! The point is El Tigre is an awesome show! Nickeldeon has no idea what its doing and neither does Viacom!
Right on Mr. Anonymous! - major -weak-sauce, I agree Chris... geees... I haven't even been on the show that long, and I adore everyone I've gotten to work with -booo-hiss.:(mm
i concurr, total weak-sauce. its cool though, you can't keep a good artist down. looking forward to your next project lamb.
Hey came across your Blog from CHF. My name is Jamal. Sorry to hear about El Tigre.Having worked on a few flash shows myself. I know exactly how it feels to have something that you slaved on endlessly go away.El-Tigre was an Dope show man.Good luck in the future.Nice Blog! Imma check back
I think it was because of ur work, but thats just me. LOL! Kidding! Bummer dude! But I dont' feel that bad fo you cause I know how freakin good you are so its not like you will be starving for work! Great Image btw!
thats brutal slambe! you took part in creating a true classic.
So they aren't putting you guys onto another project? No way! I'm sure you won't have any problems getting more work. Good luck man!- Dan
Yikes! Job hunting stinks. Best wishes to you, Steve. Hope you soon find something worthy of pursuit.
Welll....mister! Here I thought everything was going okay and we we're holding it together and you have to go a make this. It's awesome BTW, sad but pretty damn good. ;)I like your rendition. OH, and it wasn't "cancelled" it was just not picked up...wink wink...hahhaa..those jerks. Trying to make it sound better. ;pSOooo...Lunch was good, where next?
oh no, i'm sorry...goodbye el tigre...phc
Damn that bites nards. Sorry to hear this. You'll do fine regardless.
Terrible news. This was my favorite cartoon on the air. What do they expect, though? They pulled the show from it's normal time slot and ran it at different times on Saturdays, but still kept the 10:30 announcement on the site. They also kept rerunning the same episode. I don't know any cartoon that would do well with that kind of treatment. What a shame, and piss poor timing with the holidays around the corner. Hope you bounce to something cool soon!
LAME!Oh man that sucks. You guys will do great though. Keep your head up, and keep us posted. Hope you guys are doing well.-Bruce
Fuck this 'pat on the head' stuff. I'm writing those idiots. That's a great show!Jerks.HEY GUYS! If everyone reading this sends in an angry email to Nickelodeon, we might get to see them do more work! Waddaya says?I want to see these guys do more great stuff together!
Steve...I am so sorry for you and all the other extremely talented (and fun!) people working on that show! I know you all will reach new successes individually but, jeez... it really looked (to me) like this was one of those special shows were the people and talent were united and making cool, cool things, together. And having some fun too. It's sad and twisted to have it end so quickly like this. I have a feeling it will be resurrected.
i know all to well that, like a cat, steve always lands on his feet. sorry about the news but i bet even better things are on the dockett for you!! remember we survived trainscape!!
I agree. That was a good show... but there is nothing I can do about it. Not much anyone can do. They always do these type of things to good shows... but that's what happens. They get rid of the good to great shows to make way for the stupider ones. They seem to atract more kids for some reason I guess, but what people forget is an audience isn't only made of kids, now is it? One, adults like to watch shows two, and two, the adults have to aprove of the show before they let their kids watch it, and honestly, some shows are not very kid friendly. But I guess all good things come to an end... *Sign* I just wish the end didn't come so soon...Sincerely,Me, Myself, and I
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? doesnt anyone know that I'm crying because of this?
