So my friend Robin told me at comicon this weekend that I've been severely slacking on my blog duties. The ironic thing is that I'M usually the one ripping on my friends about being slackers. Ha!
So to keep things fresh, I'll introduce something stanky I call, "The Design Graveyard". Here's a collection of designs that have been rejected, cut (because of time constraints), or just plain tossed out. Some are finished, and some are rough. Hopefully they find a home with you guys!

Amazing work as usual Steve! It was great meeting you in San Deigo!

Wow! Such an amazing choice of shapes. You have some really inspiring work. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic designs Stevie! It was awesome seeing you and your lovely wife at Con. I hope you guys got to relax and spend some quality time together! I'll see you around buddy!
LOVE the rock monster! Also, I really like your interpretation of the dog, cat, worm, dino designs. I was one of the other artists they got to do some concept designs for that job.
Oh goodness! You have been busy! I really like the last set, especially the little worm kid. I want to squish him. Nice seeing you for two seconds at con. Hope you had fun!

Sweet sweet rejects man. Sincerely great hangin' with you and Sue at the con. Yer one of the good ones buck-o!
Man, that rock monster one kicks ass (and the rest). It's sad when stuff of this quality gets the axe. Thanks for sharing!
I wasn't trying to be too harsh.. but I did want to make my point. I dunno... Maybe I'm just a grumpy old man.
and.. these drawings are sweet steve! The rock god is one of my favorites, and I really love the dog in the last line up. I can just see his ears getting tangled with his skate board.... now that's harsh.
OO now I want a series about all the adventures a group of rejected character designs might have.
..posted another comment on my blog, addressing some of the stuff you wrote about.
Soon we'll be changing each others diapers at the old crotchety man home.
nice to see new work from you Steve -- i must admit i haven't been in here for ages for that very reason. but i love your work, so hopefully it'll be the start of more (semi)regular deposits of Lambey goodness...
