Second new piece of 07....

Another assigment for design class. Shapes!!

In other news, me amigo buddy pal, Jeremiah Alcorn's new book entitled "Year of the Pig" has just hit stores.

Now I ain't one for gossip, but I heard it's so good that it's already outselling all the Tolkien books AND the bible....in it's first week!!! Crazy!!!

Seriously though, it's a really fun read for the kids, with SUPER gorgeous visuals. Buy a copy today!

Steve,
as noted elsewhere, I love that you are experimenting with your style. Very cool, 'especially the cube/cylinder cop.

Love the thick, textured lines.

Hey pal, saw your comment.
Looks like you've got Burbank in a headlock over there & doing well. I almost moved back to Calif. this week. If I get another chance I'm going to show up in your cube & make that Fireman Puppet do horrible things to his genitals.

Thanks guys!!

Martin: Ha Ha! Thanks for the vote of confidence but I'm soaking up all the info I can from the master, Alex Kirwan.

Justin Thompson's class was amazing too. I highly recommend doing both. They really compliment each other well.

Jim M: You can get those kinds of lines in flash with the brush tool. It's inking with an undo feature.Photoshop works really well too. Cintiqs are awesome for drawing with. Now I just have to save for one for home :)

Lovely lovely lovely, Steve, but then you surely already know that. Shape designs are great - I'm hosting a workshop on that very thing tomorrow at Animex in the UK, "Playing With Shapes".

i am looking for a crazy kid's book about characters that had heads of various shapes, and they were respectively called things like the 'squarees' and the 'trianglees', etc; i have no idea of the title or author. any ideas? thanks!
