1969....Gone but not forgotten!

Here's something I really don't do enough of, and that's pay tribute to some of my influences. This post's focus is on the great Mel Crawford.

Ever since discovering Mel's work over on Shane Gline's Cartoon Retro, I've been scouring Ebay for more. Some of his best work are golden books with the early Flintstones, Twinkles the Elelphant, and Rootie Kazootie. A few weeks back, I came across this rare beauty...a golden book calender. It's so gorgeous that I just had to scan it for everyone's enjoyment. Hope you all like it as much as I have!

I know it's been forever since I posted anything of quality. Booo!!! Things have been busy since I moved. The new 9-5 is great though and I'm learning a ton. Really hoping to clear up some free time very soon to practise some this learn-ed knowledge to create some new (and hopefully better) artwork. Bear with me, folks that care!
