"Throwback Thursdays" by Saxton Moore

Saxton Moore's been doing this really cool thing over on his blog where every thursday, he takes a classic cartoon character , and does a different take on it. A great exercise if you're into practicing character designs. Here's two of his posts that I absolutely loved. Viva 'Throwback Thursdays"!

Steve, I am floored, man. I've been a big fan of yours since I saw your work on the sketchbook sessions forum. I'm glad you dig my stuff. Thanks for posting my work on your blog amongst your Amazing pieces. You got CRAZY props in my book.

Great work. I love seeing other artists do existing cartoons in their own style. My friends and I used to do this. It's neat to see the differant approaches to the same subject. It's funny because one of the ones we did was Quick Draw McGraw. :)
I look forward to seeing more.
