Hey guys...the wife (to be) has been hounding me to finish up the family Christmas card, so I finally finished it up tonight. Here's a mini evolution with the final. Merry Christmas!!

Hey Steve. Super amazing as always. Maybe a silly question, but where do you feel your particular style comes from? When I look at your work, it really zaps me back to... what?... the graphics of the fifties? Very muted colors, fuzzy whites, very clear reading graphics. It's so controlled, and yet loses not one tittle of spontaneity. Thanks also for posting your process. You've done this a couple times in a couple places, and it never gets old. Everyone should be so cool.
Love this and DEMAND a Christmas card from you. The wife and i enjoyed talking to Sue and you at the party on Friday. We mostly enjoyed talking to Sue .(Great girl. Very nice.)

Hi Steve, I think your skill with the drawing tools in flash is exceptional. I love flash but, hate those tools, Your Dr. Evil animation looks traditional yet "flashy." Are you drawing and scanning the bits and composing in flash? Nice work.

great card! I really like the subtle designs such as the scarves and how thin some of the line weight is in some areas. Very nice.
