A few months back, I got the chance to do an illustration for Boy's Life magazine. This was very cool for me because many of my favorites illustrators from the 50's did work for the magazine.
In any case, the illustration was about a certain breed of squirrel that eats shed snake skin. Apparently the smell on it's breath and skin repel predators....mainly other snakes. Fun and educational!
Anyhow, my thanks to the folks at Boy's Life for fun assignment. Hope you guys enjoy!

I love this! Animals eating other animals. Ahhhh.... Nature at its best! The pissed of snake is a nice touch too!
