Fanboy Titlecards

Lately, Frederator's been posting some of the titlecards I've been working on for Fanboy, so I guess it's safe for me to share them with you guys here as well. So far, I've got about ten of these done. Only forty-two more to go!

  4. Dude -- these are so rad. On OddParents, we usually have several people help in the title card process, from concept to color. Are you coming up with the concept and the rough layout for these cards? You're obviously doing the final drawing and color, which are so awesome. Solid, clear composition. Great, dramatic range of values. Dynamic color palette. Funny concepts. You've got it all going on!

  6. Mr. Lambey!! You've had compliments of excellent or great and awesome... so i'll leave one i haven't seen! Your work is the shit!! (meaning badass)! Few questions.. Will you be at comic-con? If so,which juggernaut print will be up for sale? Hopefully macho libre juggernaut and juggernaut gigante? How much? And finally, are you using painter to create all this wonderful art?

  9. Thanks guys!!

Matt Dougherty: Eric was cool enough to allow me total cart blanche with these. Typically I usually show him 6-8 rough thumbnail ideas for each card. Once he makes his pick, I get to take it straight to final. Best boss ever, right?

Javier M: Thanks for the kind words! I am going to be at comicon this year, but sadly with no booth. Hopefully next year. Oh and these are all done with both flash and photoshop. I don't seem to have the patience to learn painter.

  25. I like 'em. Especially the top one and 8-bit graveyard. And the trading day, hard sell, fanboy stinks, pick a nose and janitor strikes back. Also, dollar day.

    Yep, that's all of them.
