Happy Halloween!

A little werewolf illo to celebrate all Hallow's eve...

...and some ruff monster concepts I did recently for an upcoming character on Fanboy. Seems fitting for Halloween. Why all the same shape? The challenge was to match the design to a silhouette of two character standing on each other's shoulders. Anyone want to make a guess which one made the cut?

Happy Halloween, everyone!!

  1. Love the werewolf, Steve. Seriously. I'm going to guess the design on the upper right? They're all sweet, though.

  2. nice!! I pick the top right with the bottom right coming in a close second, and the bottom left coming in third, but only because that big striped nose is so damned funny. well done

  7. Those fanboy designs are brilliant Steve, I would say the fella on the bottom right made the cut and I think the werewolf would make a great poster.

  9. Hey Steve

    It's been a while.

Your stuff looks better than ever!

    p.s.

    Love those juggernauts...

I used to hate when he was drawn like just some bodybuilder with a helmet(in some of the old comics). It's cool when He is drawn like a huge FREAK!(giant hands ,tiny head..) Great job!

  12. Awesome job. I think the bottom left looks most like some of the other Fanboy Character Designs I've seen. So I'm putting my chips on him.

have you noticed when using dry brushes in photoshop the brush changes and loses its gradient quality and is just a series of round blobs? I have to reboot everytime I want to use a dry brush. I am thinking it is a glich.....does this happen to you?
